Every pack in the New Young Underground catalogue was made by one person, in one room, on shit he actually owns.
I can't fucking stand another drumkit with the Spinz 808 in it — the same compressed snares, the same BS hi-hats, the same five samples chopped from the same Splice search. I got bored. I wanted something New.
I got my ass up and started cooking a new sound, recorded things with my phone, studio mic, messed with them till i got a unique sound. We need to allow the Young producers out there to experiment with sounds the same way U and I do.
